Whole pan-seared Calamari Tubes stuffed with Romano cheese, toasted bread crumbs, garlic and oregano, served with a spicy marinara sauce and garnished with fresh parsley.


Yield: 2 Servings



  • 4 Each Calamari Tubes
  • ½ Cup Romano Cheese, Grated
  • ½ Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Each Egg
  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic, Minced
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • To Taste Salt
  • To Taste Black Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
  • ½ Cup Marinara Sauce
  • Garnish Parsley, Chopped


  1. Preheat an oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the Romano cheese, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, salt and black pepper.
  3. Stuff each Calamari Tube with a portion of the mixture.
  4. In a small saucepan, heat up the vegetable oil and sear the Calamari Tubes until it starts to brown.
  5. Place the Calamari Tubes in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until fully cooked.
  6. Remove from the oven, serve with marinara sauce and garnish with parsley.
