Buttermilk marinated Calamari Rings and Tentacles, coated in seasoned flour and fried until golden brown, served with sweet chili sauce and spicy marinara sauce.

  • 1 lb. Calamari Rings and Tentacles
  • 2 Cups Buttermilk
  • 1 Cup Flour, All Purpose
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • ½ Cup Marinara Sauce
  • ½ Cup Sweet Chili Sauce


  1. Soak the Calamari Rings and Tentacles in the buttermilk and marinate for at least an hour.
  2. Preheat a deep fryer to 350°F.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt and black pepper.
  4. Drain the Calamari Rings and Tentacles from the buttermilk and coat in the flour mixture.
  5. Deep fry for 3-4 minutes or until the Calamari Rings and Tentacles are crispy.
  6. Serve with a side of marinara and sweet chili sauce.
